Scholarships at Teesside Üniversitesi

In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, Teesside University is offering three scholarships, each of £10,000, to students from an eligible country applying for a postgraduate course.

• Value of scholarship: £10,000.

• Number of scholarships available: three GREAT Scholarships.

The GREAT Scholarships 2025 programme, launched by the British Council together with 71 UK universities, supports postgraduate students from Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Ghana, Greece, Kenya, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam to access world-class UK higher education opportunities.

The scholarship programme offers financial support of a minimum of £10,000 to students pursuing one-year postgraduate study in the UK. Students can apply for courses in a range of subjects, at the 71 institutions across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

One scholarship per country to students in Egypt, Pakistan or Spain.

Eligibility criteria

To be considered for a GREAT scholarship, you must:

• Be a national of one of the following countries: Egypt, Pakistan or Spain (STEM applicants only).

• Be assessed as international for tuition fee purposes.

• Be self-funded.

• You must hold an offer from Teesside University (conditional or unconditional) by 25 April 2025 for a postgraduate taught one-year master's programme, commencing September 2025.

• Must be applying to study a course in the relevant subject area (E.g. Spanish students can only apply onto one-year postgraduate STEM courses).

• Must be an international fee payer at Teesside University studying on-campus in Middlesbrough or Darlington (Teesside University Online and Teesside University courses outside the UK are therefore excluded from this scholarship.)
